The I.A.R. 81C was a Romanian World War II fighter aircraft, developed by Industria Aeronautică Română (IAR).
An evolution of the earlier I.A.R. 80 series, the I.A.R. 81C was equipped with German Mauser MG 151/20 cannons, which significantly enhanced its firepower.
These 20mm cannons, mounted in the wings, were capable of delivering powerful bursts against both air and ground targets.
The I.A.R. 81C combined robust construction with decent maneuverability, making it a versatile aircraft for both air superiority and ground-attack roles, although it was often outclassed by more advanced Allied fighters.
