The Bristol Bloodhound was a British surface-to-air missile developed in the 1950s and 1960s.

It was designed to defend against low-flying aircraft and was the UK's primary air defense missile during the Cold War.

The missile was radar-guided and could travel at Mach 2.5, or approximately 1,920 miles per hour.

It was a two-stage missile that used a solid-fuel rocket motor to accelerate to supersonic speeds, and then a ramjet engine to maintain its velocity.

The Bloodhound had a range of up to 60 miles and could reach altitudes of up to 60,000 feet.

The missile was retired from service in the 1990s and is now on display in museums in the UK and around the world.
